What This Does
Copies, cuts, or pastes selected text using three-finger pinch gestures on the screen.
Why It's Useful
The copy-paste menu requires precise tapping and breaks your flow. Three-finger gestures let you copy and paste without lifting your eyes from the text — especially fast when combined with keyboard trackpad mode.
How to Do It
- Select the text you want to copy or cut
- Pinch in with three fingers to copy
- Pinch in twice quickly with three fingers to cut
- Spread out with three fingers to paste at the cursor
Try This Now
Open Notes, type two sentences, select the first one, three-finger pinch to copy. Move the cursor below, three-finger spread to paste. Confirm the text duplicated correctly.
