Navigation reps
- Swipe up from the bottom to go home, then open an app and swipe up-and-pause for the App Switcher.
- Swipe along the home bar to switch between your two most recent apps.
- Swipe down on the Home Screen to open Spotlight and launch an app by name.
Multitasking drills
Practice until these feel automatic.
- Open Split View with two apps you use together (e.g., Safari and Notes).
- Drag the divider to give one app more space, then reset it.
- Open Slide Over with a third app, then drag a photo from Photos into Notes.
Editing habits
Build three-finger and keyboard gestures into your daily flow.
- Type a sentence in Notes, then three-finger swipe left to undo it.
- Select text, three-finger pinch to copy, move the cursor, three-finger spread to paste.
- Press and hold the space bar to move the cursor to a specific word.
