Quick Note
What This Does
Opens a floating note from any screen so you can capture a thought without leaving your current app.
Why It's Useful
Ideas arrive while you are browsing, reading, or watching. Quick Note lets you jot them down instantly — the note saves automatically and syncs to the Notes app for later.
How to Do It
- Place your finger or Apple Pencil in the bottom-right corner of the screen
- Swipe diagonally inward toward the center
- A Quick Note window appears — type your note and swipe it away to save
Try This Now
While reading this page in Safari, swipe diagonally from the bottom-right corner to open Quick Note. Type one sentence, then swipe the note away. Open the Notes app to confirm it saved.
