Scan from iPad to Mac
What This Does
Scan a document with the iPad and insert it into a Mac app.
Why It's Useful
The iPad camera is right in your hands. Scanning from the iPad saves walking to a scanner or photographing and emailing yourself.
How to Do It
- On the Mac, open a supported app
- Choose Insert from iPad
- Select Scan Documents
- Use the iPad camera to scan the page
- Tap Save
- The scan appears on the Mac
Try This Now
In a Mac note or document, choose Insert from iPad → Scan Documents. Scan one page and confirm it appears on the Mac.
