What This Does
Take a photo with iPad and place it directly into a Mac document.
Why It's Useful
Shoot on the iPad and the photo lands exactly where your Mac document needs it — no import step.
How to Do It
- On the Mac, open a supported app
- Choose Insert from iPad
- Select Take Photo
- Take the photo on the iPad
- Tap Use Photo
- The photo appears on the Mac
Try This Now
In Notes on the Mac, choose Insert from iPad → Take Photo. Snap a picture on the iPad and confirm it appears in the note.
