Jump Back to the Last Folder
What This Does
Return to the directory you were in before your current one with a single command.
Why It's Useful
Instant context switching. Jump between two directories quickly without typing long paths or using history.
How to Do It
- Type
cd -and press Enter - You'll jump back to your previous directory
- Run it again to toggle between the two directories
Try This Now
Navigate to your Documents folder with cd ~/Documents, then to Desktop with cd ~/Desktop. Now run cd - and you'll jump back to Documents instantly.
