Restore Windows

How

Open System Settings and go to Desktop & Dock
Turn off "Close windows when quitting an application"
In Terminal, go to Settings > Profiles > Window
Check "Restore text when reopening windows"

Try this

Open a few terminal tabs, navigate to different directories, then quit Terminal. Reopen Terminal and verify your tabs and directories are restored.
