Tab Search
What This Does
Tab Search (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+A or the dropdown arrow on the tab bar) finds any open tab by name.
Why It's Useful
With 40 tabs open, hunting visually fails. Tab search is Spotlight for your browser.
How to Do It
- Press Cmd+Shift+A (Mac) or click the tab search chevron
- Type part of the page title
- Press Enter to jump to that tab
- Close duplicate tabs you forgot about
Try This Now
Open five tabs, then use Tab Search to jump to the third without clicking.
Mental Hook: Search tabs like files.
