Suggesting Mode
What This Does
Suggesting mode turns edits into comments-like proposals the owner can accept or reject—like Track Changes in Word.
Why It's Useful
Direct edits in shared docs create conflict and lost intent. Suggestions preserve the original until approved.
How to Do It
- Toggle Editing dropdown → Suggesting
- Type normally—additions show as green, deletions as strikethrough
- Reviewers click ✓ to accept or ✗ to reject
- Use for contracts, copy reviews, and spec changes
