Chrome Side Panel
What This Does
The Side Panel docks tools beside your current tab instead of opening new tabs.
Why It's Useful
Context switching kills focus. Reading List and Bookmarks in the side panel keep reference material visible.
How to Do It
- Click the Side Panel icon (panel shape) in Chrome's toolbar
- Choose Reading List, Bookmarks, or an extension
- Drag the panel edge to resize
- Pin frequently used panels for quick access
Try This Now
Add a page to Reading List, then open Reading List in the side panel.
Mental Hook: Main page stays, tools slide in.
