Sheets Shortcuts
What This Does
Key shortcuts: Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Arrow select to edge, Cmd/Ctrl+D fill down, Cmd/Ctrl+/ show all shortcuts, F2 edit cell.
Why It's Useful
Mouse-driven spreadsheet work is slow. Shortcuts compound across thousands of cell interactions.
How to Do It
- Press Cmd/Ctrl+/ to open the shortcut list
- Use Cmd/Ctrl+Arrow to jump to data edges
- Alt+= (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+T (Mac) for SUM
- Press Ctrl+` to toggle formula view
Try This Now
Fill down a formula with Cmd/Ctrl+D and jump to the data edge.
Mental Hook: Arrow keys are just the start.
