Pinned Tabs
What This Does
Pinned tabs shrink to favicon-only and stay locked to the left side of the tab bar.
Why It's Useful
Accidentally closing Gmail mid-day is a productivity tax. Pinned tabs require deliberate unpinning to close.
How to Do It
- Right-click an important tab → Pin
- Pinned tabs open automatically in new windows
- Drag pinned tabs to reorder among other pinned tabs
- Right-click → Unpin when you truly want to close
Try This Now
Pin Gmail, Calendar, and Drive—then try to close them with Cmd/Ctrl+W.
