Multiple Google Accounts
What This Does
You can stay signed into multiple Google accounts at once in Chrome. Each account has its own Gmail, Drive, and Calendar—but only one is the default for new tabs.
Why It's Useful
Freelancers and developers juggle work, clients, and personal accounts. Switching accounts wrong sends emails from the wrong address or saves files to the wrong Drive.
How to Do It
- Click your avatar in any Google app → Add another account
- Sign in with the second account and confirm it appears in the account switcher
- Before sending email or creating a Doc, check the avatar in the top-right corner
- For heavy separation, use Chrome Profiles instead of account switching alone
Try This Now
Add a second account (or confirm your existing one) and switch between them using the avatar menu.
Mental Hook: Many accounts, one browser—label them.
