Install Sites as Apps
What This Does
Install as app opens a site in its own window without tabs or address bar—like a native app.
Why It's Useful
Fewer tabs means fewer distractions. App windows also get their own dock/taskbar icon.
How to Do It
- Visit the site (e.g., mail.google.com)
- Chrome menu → Save and share → Install page as app
- Name the app and confirm
- Launch from Applications folder or Start menu
