Freeze Rows & Columns
What This Does
Freeze panes locks rows and/or columns so labels remain visible as you scroll through large datasets.
Why It's Useful
Losing column headers on row 500 causes misreads and errors. Freeze eliminates guesswork.
How to Do It
- View → Freeze → choose rows or columns
- Or drag the thick gray lines in the top-left corner
- Freeze top row for column headers
- Freeze first column for row labels
