Chrome Profiles
What This Does
A Chrome Profile is a separate browser identity with its own bookmarks, extensions, history, and signed-in Google account—like two browsers in one.
Why It's Useful
Account switching still shares cookies and extensions. Profiles prevent cross-contamination—client OAuth tests won't leak into personal Gmail.
How to Do It
- Click your profile icon at the top of Chrome → Add
- Sign in with the Google account for that profile
- Name it clearly: Work, Personal, Client-A
- Pin each profile to your taskbar or dock for one-click switching
Try This Now
Create a new Chrome Profile named Test and sign in with a secondary Google account.
Mental Hook: One profile = one person's entire browser life.
