Copy selected text by dragging
Option-drag
- Select the word in an editable document.
- Hold Option, then hold the mouse button on the selection.
- Drag to the destination while keeping the button held.
- Drop first; keep Option held until the copy is placed.
- Release Option. The original remains; a copy is at the destination.
